    • Working for Dr. Leda Mirbahai & Professor James B. Brown
    • Analysis of DNA methylation changes in Daphnia magna exposed to environmental stress
    • Multiomics analysis of Daphnia pulex sex differences including gene expression, alternative splicing, methylation and histone modifications

    • Working for Docent Mikko Frilander
    • Analysis of alternative splicing in Daphnia magna using RNA-seq data
2006 – 2015: PhD studies and other scientific work, University of Helsinki, Finland
    • Supervised by Docent Mikko Frilander and Professor Ilkka Hanski
    • The primary focus of the PhD work was gene expression analysis of Melitaea cinxia using microarrays and RNA-seq data
    • Other work included analysis of U12 type introns in Drosophila melanogaster as well as several unrelated projects on Melitaea cinxia
